Bachelors in Sociology

Who are we The basic Sociology course is coordinated by the Institute of Sociology. The general objective of the Institute is to train creative professionals who are committed to humanistic values, have a sense of social criticism, and have a broad knowledge of social theory, social history, social psychology, theoretical and empirical social research and IT methodology. They have mastered the professional knowledge and skills of analyzing domestic and European societies and social processes as well as globalization trends, and are capable of teaching sociological knowledge and conducting independent theoretical and empirical research. They can also apply their knowledge in practice: social structures; analysis of organizational and human relations and processes; data collection, data analysis; decision preparation; sociological, public opinion and market research; in the field of environmental and impact studies, both in research, teaching, and economic, political, administrative, social and cultural, state, municipal and civil, in institutions and organizations operating in the competitive sphere or outside it.
