TUS’s Higher Certificate in Business Studies (Marketing and Management) is a two-year, full-time Level 6 program at the Moylish Campus in Limerick. It’s perfect for students who want to build a strong foundation in business, marketing, and management while gaining hands-on experience through projects, client work, and the option to progress seamlessly into the Bachelor of Business degree.


Curriculum Structure

Year 1

Your first year introduces the essentials of business and marketing. Modules such as Principles of Marketing & Management, Financial Accounting, and Sales Principles give you the fundamentals of how organisations operate and connect with customers. You’ll also explore Mathematics in Business and Learning Skills Development, ensuring you gain analytical and study skills to succeed.

Year 2

In the second year, you’ll deepen your expertise in marketing and management. Modules like Sales Force Management, Website Development, and Entrepreneurship allow you to apply theory to practice. You’ll also study Globalisation & International Business and Human Resource Management, broadening your perspective on how businesses compete globally and manage people effectively.
