TUS's infrastructure is designed to support modern, interdisciplinary learning and research. Its campuses feature expansive wireless networks, technology-enhanced learning spaces, and collaborative student hubs. Specialist infrastructure includes a pilot-scale bioprocessing plant, a structural testing laboratory for civil engineering, a cybersecurity operations centre, professional TV and radio broadcasting studios, and a theatre. Significant ongoing investment, such as the €40 million CoLab project in Limerick, continues to expand and future-proof campus facilities for students and industry engagement.
Student life at TUS is vibrant and diverse, with over 60 clubs and societies across its campuses run by the Students' Unions. There is a strong tradition in competitive sports, arts, and cultural activities. Freshers' Week, RAG (Raise and Give) events, and the annual TUS Ball are highlights of the social calendar. completing the university application :
Minimum Leaving Certificate with passes in six subjects, including two at H5. Specific programmes require minimum grades in relevant subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Lab Science). QQI FET Level 5/6 awards are also widely accepted. International equivalents (e.g., A-Levels) are recognised. Non-EU students require proof of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6.0).
