Technological University DublinIf you’re not sure which area of engineering to go for, this course is probably the right one for you. It’s designed to enable students to sample core engineering modules in first year and help them decide which area of engineering they most enjoy. They can then choose the area they want to pursue in subsequent years. In your first year, you’ll study subjects such as Algebra and Geometry, Digital Electronics, Engineering Science, Fundamentals of Calculus, Electrical Science, Introduction to Electronic Communications and Professional Development for Engineers, and gain experience in Workshop Practice. In the following three years, you can then specialise in the subjects that most interest you.
Successful completion of HSC XII: CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata or Tamil Nadu boards with an overall average of 70% or above. West Bengal board with an overall average of 58% or above. Maharashtra or Gujarat boards with an overall average of 75% or above. All other state boards with an overall average of 80%+ or above. IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 6.0 in each. IB: Overall Score of 24 points.
