Second Year

The focus shifts to core physics concepts and computational skills. Modules include Astrophysics and Special Relativity, Classical Mechanics, Electrostatics and Magnetostatics, Quantum Physics, and Thermodynamics & Statistical Physics. You’ll also study C/C++ Programming with Applications and Computational Physics, ensuring strong digital and analytical skills.

Third Year

Students explore modern physics topics in depth. Core modules include Condensed Matter Physics, Electromagnetism, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Quantum Mechanics, and Statistical Thermodynamics. Electives such as Observational Astrophysics or Fluid Mechanics allow specialization. Laboratory work and computational techniques remain central.

Fourth Year

The final year emphasizes advanced study and independent research. Core modules include Research Project and Experimental Physics, while electives such as Quantum Field Theory, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Lasers and Photonics, and Galactic & Extragalactic Physics allow you to focus on frontier areas.
