Year two deepens your production expertise through Applied Film and Documentary Production, Applied Audio and Radio, Media Industry Studies, and Screenwriting. You’ll produce more ambitious work in television and online formats, crafting stories that engage audiences and reflect cultural trends.

Year 3 — Specialisation and Real-World Experience
In your third year, you’ll take on Documentary Production and Media Management, research and prepare your dissertation project, and choose electives such as Film Production, Radio Production & Broadcasting, or Media Policy. Many students also have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester, gaining fresh perspectives and global industry insight.

Year 4 — Independent Creative Leadership
Your final year focuses on professional-level work with a Dissertation in Media Arts and electives like Advanced Film Production and Advanced Podcast & Radio Production. You’ll shape your unique creative voice, complete major projects, and refine your portfolio for employers or future study.
