On the basis of a doctor's diagnosis and prescription, and working within their own sphere of competence in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, graduates can carry out a functional and psychological evaluation of the patient and then proceed to create, sometimes in interdisciplinary teams, a rehabilitative programme directed at identifying and meeting the needs of the disabled patient and fostering their personal autonomy in everyday life and within the community.
