Infrastructure & Facilities at University of Milan

The University of Milan (La Statale) has a large, multi-campus infrastructure distributed across Milan and Lombardy, with academic, research, medical and student facilities. Its main historic campus is located at Via Festa del Perdono in central Milan, while the Città Studi campus houses major facilities for science, technology, medicine, agriculture and pharmacy. Other locations include Sesto San Giovanni for language and intercultural studies, Lodi for veterinary medicine and animal sciences, and Edolo for mountain-region studies. The university is also developing a new campus at MIND – Milano Innovation District, designed to integrate education, research and innovation.

Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at University of Milan

The below information is required while
completing the university application :

1. International students applying for a Bachelor’s or single cycle degree programme at the University of Milan must hold a secondary/high school diploma or an equivalent foreign qualification that gives access to university studies in the country where it was awarded.

2. Applicants must also satisfy the specific academic prerequisites and admission test requirements of their chosen programme.

3. Almost all undergraduate programmes require an admission or assessment test, with many programmes using the CISIA TOLC; programmes with limited enrolment may additionally use rankings based on test performance.

4. For applicants with foreign qualifications, the university requires documentation verifying the validity of the qualification.

5. For a Bachelor’s or single cycle degree, this generally includes the high school diploma, an official Italian translation where required, and either a CIMEA Statement of Comparability and Verification or a Dichiarazione di Valore issued by the relevant Italian diplomatic authority.

6. Documents originally issued in English, French, German or Spanish may also be accepted unless a particular programme specifies otherwise.

    A research team developed EXTRA-CELL, a technology for extracting and miniaturising cellulose from agricultural and food-chain waste.
