Program Overview

The 1st cycle Degree Programme in Civil Engineering aims to produce graduates able to understand, manage and solve medium-difficulty problems linked to the design of structures and infrastructures, the implementation, management and control of civil works, buildings, hydraulic works, infrastructures, transport systems and surveying. In the first year the curriculum offers solid grounding in the cognitive elements required to know and understand the methodological and operational aspects of mathematical analysis, mathematical physics, geometry and rational mechanics.The selected core learning activities aim to allow students to acquire analytical skills and understand the methodological and operational proceduresof the sciences underlying civil engineering: construction science.

A secondary school diploma awarded after five years of study or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable, a good knowledge of the Italian language, both oral and written, logical reasoning abilities, knowledge and ability to apply the basics of mathematics, physics and experimental sciences, Documents giving evidence of the level of proficiency in the required language (minimum B1 level), Language of the entrance University (French, Greek or Italian), CV, Motivation Letter, Letter of recommendations, Certificate of residence, IELTS and TOEFL scores
