The degree programme is aimed at developing a series of basic theoretical and scientific skills and high-level practical skills in foreign languages and literature. The international dimension of the training offered is ensured by the increasing number of subjects taught in foreign languages, by promotion of study periods abroad, mobility programmes, frequent activities involving visiting professors, talks by writers and scholars from other countries, congresses and cultural initiatives in collaboration with foreign institutions.
