Program Overview

As part of the health profession of the cardiocirculatory physiopathology technician and cardiovascular perfusion, graduates are health workers responsible for the management and maintenance of equipment relating to extracorporeal circulation techniques and hemodynamic techniques. Their duties are exclusively of a technical nature; assist the medical staff in suitable environments providing essential information or conducting, always under medical indication, equipment aimed at hemodynamic or vicarious diagnostic cardiocirculatory functions. Graduates in cardio-circulatory physiopathology and cardiovascular perfusion techniques plan, manage and evaluate what is necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment for which they are responsible; guarantee the correct application of the required support techniques; they carry out their professional activity in health facilities, public or private, depending on dependency or professional freedom; they contribute to the training of support staff and directly contribute to the updating of the professional profile and to research in the subjects they are responsible for
