Program Overview

The Undergraduate Degree Course in Biotechnology is designed to produce graduates with solid basic knowledge of the molecular and cellular frameworks of living systems from the interdisciplinary perspective typical of biotechnologies; graduates who are familiar with advanced scientific methodologies, including the approaches of bioinformatics, and who can apply them in compliance with regulations and taking into account ethical and bioethical issues; graduates who know the various biotechnological fields and, particularly, the agricultural, environmental, food science, biological and industrial, pharmaceutical and veterinary sectors, and those of scientific communication, patents and intellectual property protection, legislation, fundraising and management.
