The degree programme in Biological Sciences aims to form graduates with valid basic knowledge of biology and a strong command of scientific investigation methods, as well as a solid grounding for the understanding of scientific and technological progress also to understand and correctly handle living organisms. In detail, graduates will have acquired competences in non-biological sectors including computing, mathematics and statistics, physics, chemistry and the fundamental language competences required to continue studies in the fields of botany, zoology, cytology, histology, comparative anatomy, ecology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, general physiology, microbiology, human biology, plant physiology and hygiene; they will also acquire skills in laboratory management, methods and good practices.
A secondary school diploma awarded after five years of study or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable, a good knowledge of the Italian language, both oral and written, logical reasoning abilities, knowledge and ability to apply the basics of mathematics, physics and experimental sciences, Documents giving evidence of the level of proficiency in the required language (minimum A2 level), Language of the entrance University (French, Greek or Italian), CV, Motivation Letter, Letter of recommendations, IELTS and TOEFL scores
