Program Overview

The specific job-oriented objectives of the Degree in Industrial Chemistry are to produce graduates who possess: - chemical and technological expertise that may be used in the explicit sector of industrial chemical manufacturing. They will be familiar with the reactions and processes through from the laboratory to the production phase, as well as in all manufacturing and service sectors that require knowledge of products and materials, their properties and how to apply them; - enough know-how to interact with professionals trained in scientifically connected subjects involved in producing, manipulating, applying and monitoring chemical products and employing materials (devising methods of synthesis, optimization and monitoring of processes, safety procedures, environmental compatibility, energy saving and recycling, economic aspects of manufacturing, quality control, properties of materials); - in-depth knowledge and experience of the experimental methods and laboratory techniques needed in research, analysis and monitoring laboratories.
