Program Overview

Graduates in technical prevention professions work in prevention activities with professional technical autonomy for individuals and communities. Their work is based on health needs and includes the assessment and control of hygiene and environmental safety in living areas and the workplace, food and beverage hygiene, public and veterinary health conditions, training and education and recovery. These activities must however regard the sphere of responsibility foreseen in the professional profile. Graduates in the class are provided with an adequate preparation in the basic disciplines, so they can better understand the most relevant important characteristics of the pathological processes, from adult to geriatric age, on which their preventive intervention or rehabilitation is organized.
