Since its inception, the department has trained specialists in the specialty ""050719 - Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications"". In September 2012, the specialty ""050719 - Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications"" was separated from the department of ""Space technology and technology"" and a new department ""Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications"" was created."
