L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was founded in the year 1996. It is located in Astana, the fast-growing capital city of Kazakhstan, in the heart of Eurasia. The University was granted a special status of national by the Presidential Decree, “considering the significant contribution to the development and professional formation of a person on the basis of national and universal values, science and technology”.

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University offers 93 Bachelors degree programs, 99 Masters degree programs and 40 Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Art and Humanities, Social Sciences and Physical Sciences at 13 faculties. The classes are taught in Kazakh, Russian, English languages.
