Program Overview

The Faculty of Fine Arts of S leyman Demirel University started its education in the West campus with 15 students as the Department of Ceramics and Glass in the academic year of 2003-2004. The Ceramics Department, which gave its first graduates in 2007, attends theoretical lessons in the Faculty of Fine Arts building on the East Campus and continues its application lessons in the workshops within the Ceramic Research and Application Center on the West Campus. The Department of Ceramics gives priority to contemporary education and provides original art education with 17 years of experience that has the archaeological and cultural values of the Lakes Region and guides the culture and art life of the region. To raise contemporary artist candidates who have universal ideas and values of art by providing students with the environment and opportunities in which they can develop their knowledge and skills in the field of ceramics.
