Suleyman Demirel University History

Suleyman Demirel University was established in 1996 and is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is named after Suleyman Demirel, the former president of Turkey.

The University offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral courses. The Bachelor programs are offered across the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities, SDU Business school, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering and Natural sciences. The Masters programs are taught in seven fields such as Economics, Management, Computer Systems and Software, Mathematics, Mathematics (pedagogy), Kazakh Language and Literature, Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages and Jurisprudence. The Ph.D. programs are offered in five fields namely Management, Computer Systems and Software, Kazakh Language and Literature, Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages and Mathematics (pedagogy).
