The Medicine program at Rīga Stradins University (RSU) is a six-year, internationally recognized course designed to train future medical professionals. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes 360 ECTS credits, combining theoretical foundations in the first two years with preclinical and clinical training in later years. Students engage in a high level of patient-centered learning from the third year onwards, benefiting from modern educational facilities including the largest simulation center in the Baltics. The program culminates in the awarding of a Medical Doctor (MD) degree, which prepares graduates for various residency programs and medical practices both in Latvia and abroad. Notably, the program encourages active student participation through group work and practical experiences in hospitals and clinics across Latvia, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to meet modern healthcare challenges.
