The mission of the undergraduate programs is to impart a basic understanding of electrical and computer engineering built on a foundation of mathematics, physical sciences and technology. This will help expose students to practical and major design experiences and provide students with a global perspective and awareness of their leadership role in regional development. This preparation is augmented by the liberal arts education offered to all undergraduates at the American University of Beirut.The objectives of the CCE program are to graduate students who are able to: achieve their employment or post-graduate educational goals and advance in their careers through leadership, life-long learning, innovation, critical thinking, integrity and civic responsibility.

Successfully completed Grade 12 , Successfully received the certificate or diploma, SAT1 results- minimum 1130 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math, High school records during grades 10 and 11, Counselor/Teacher recommendation(s), Extracurricular Activities/Other Achievements, A score >=530 on Verbal SAT or >=32 on AUB EEE or >=69 on TOEFL(IBT) >=523 on TOEFL(PBT) or >=6.0 on IELTS irrespective if SAT Essay or AUB Writing Test were taken or not, Two Essays
