Program Overview

The mission of the undergraduate programs is to impart a basic understanding of electrical and computer engineering built on a foundation of mathematics, physical sciences and technology. This will help expose students to practical and major design experiences and provide students with a global perspective and awareness of their leadership role in regional development. This preparation is augmented by the liberal arts education offered to all undergraduates at the American University of Beirut. The Electrical and Computer Engineering program provides students with options to explore and specialize in one or more areas of electrical and computer engineering.
