The Bachelor of Wood Science and Technology (B. Wood Sc. Tech.) was introduced in 2006 to meet the critical needs of the timber industry in Malaysia (although courses in wood science and technology have existed since 1971). The objective of this programme is to produce trained manpower in the field of wood processing and manufacturing management, including the use of the latest information and current technology. Specifically, this programme will produce graduates knowledgeable in the management of forest resources, wood-based manufacturing technology and wood materials, as well as competent managers in wood processing and manufacturing.
National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level or the equivalent of 12 years of basic education) with the grade 80% and above, or a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 5.5, certified copies of academic certificates with detailed academic qualifications, Financial Statement, Certified Copy of Passport (First Page).
