The Accounting programme at School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia aims to nurture future accountants who are competent to prepare financial reports for internal and external reporting, to analyse accounting issues and to evaluate financial as well as non-financial information for decision-making. The programme also obtains accreditation from local as well as international professional bodies such as MICPA-CAANZ, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA AUSTRALIA and CIMA with papers exemption in sitting for respective professional examinations to be a qualified or Chartered Accountant.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
