Program Overview

The Civil Engineering programme offered by the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia aspires to produce highly competent civil engineering graduates with broad-based knowledge and competencies who are able to design solutions to diverse civil engineering problems. The programme provides a balanced curriculum that encompasses the major sub-diciplines of civil engineering which include geotechnique, structures, water resources, highway and traffic, environment as well as geomatic and management.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
