Globalization, followed by the idea of economic integration in East Asia is the force that creates trade opportunities and establishes new relationships in the interactions between countries in this region.The importance of East Asia from the perspectives of geographic, economic and political strategies in the global arena has lead to the establishment of the Department of East Asian Studies offering a comprehensive education program.

Should require National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade 80% and above, A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00, Applicant may be required to undergo an interview session for certain selection programme before being accepted by the respective faculty, Students are required to enroll in the Malay Language Programme prior to being conferred a degree, A band of 6.0 and above in IELTS (Academic)or A score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT) and above in TOEFL, Band of 3 and above in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
