Program Overview

This program focuses on the theoretical and practical studies with concentrate on three major fields, the core literature and teaching; management and marketing of literature; and creative literature and editing. Understanding and mastery of History of Malay Literature, Literary Theory, Literary Criticism and genre of literature both in traditional and modern literature are emphasis. In addition, the convergence is also given to the practical and professionalism courses such as Management and Marketing Literature, Literary Editing, Teaching and Evaluation of Literature, Creative Writing and Literature and Law.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should require National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade 80% and above, A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00, Applicant may be required to undergo an interview session for certain selection programme before being accepted by the respective faculty, Students are required to enroll in the Malay Language Programme prior to being conferred a degree, A band of 6.0 and above in IELTS (Academic)or A score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT) and above in TOEFL, Band of 3 and above in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
