Program Overview

The Communication Programme offered by the School of Communication aims at producing graduates with broad knowledge and critical understanding of media and communications. The programme is also intended to equip students to apply their conceptual understanding and theoretical knowledge at the workplace. The School of Communication offers three areas of specializations namely Film and Broadcasting, Journalism and Persuasive Communication.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
