Program Overview

Students in the Industrial Chemistry programme are trained in general, organic, analytical and physical chemistry. In addition, there are special classes focusing on the materials, operational unit, chemical industry, safety issues and chemical processing. The Industrial Chemistry courses also provide an excellent gateway into other science-based majors. This programme is designed to give students the improved laboratory skills and analytical abilities that will help them to excel in other four-year programmes.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
