Program Overview

This program aims to produce competent Operations Research or Management Mathematics personnel who are capable of conducting research and development in both industries and service sectors. In this program, students are given training in the use of operations research techniques in areas such as logistics management, transportation, planning and banking. Problem solving skills are given special attention and computer skills are used in analyzing data for example, management and logistics data, and optimizing solutions are also emphasized.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
