Program Overview

Introduced in 1989, the Programme originally known as Wood, Paper and Coatings Technology WPC was designed to equip students with knowledge on the technology related to wood, paper and coatings. In 2003, the name was changed to Bioresource, Paper and Coatings Technology BPC to include the study on non-wood bioresource. Apart from theories, students will hands-on the experience in practical sessions in the laboratory.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
