Program Overview

The Fine Arts Product Design programme in the School of the Arts , Universiti Sains Malaysia explores the design processes through which a product is conceived, developed, fabricated, and marketed. Major emphasis allows the student to work towards acquiring control of the physical and visual constructs of a given concept allowing the desired content to be fully communicated. Ideations are developed through drawings and/or models, and then progress to full-size working pieces.

Completed 12 years of Primary and High School Education and Obtained High School Certificate-A-Level, HSC, SMU, and UAN, Matayom Suksa 6, International Baccalaureate etc or Diploma in the related field, ENGLISH REQUIREMENT-IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 417 PBT / 107 CBT / 35 IBT or CAE score of 154/B1 or CPE score of 154/B1 or Pearson Test of English PTE Academic Score of 36 or Malaysian University English Test Band 2 or Candidate from an institution in which the medium instruction is English and Passed with Credit in Intensive Preparatory Bahasa Malaysia Programme, UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT-and/or Passed the USM Interview, Official certificates, transcripts, mark sheets or school report from each secondary or college attended, Translated copy of certificates, Copy of passport,
