BA Hons in Early Childhood Education and Care

The early years are the most important in the life of a child where the first relationships and experiences influence a child s dispositions and attitudes towards learning and later life achievements. A high percentage (95%) of three and four year olds attend local kindergarten settings. The aim of the B. A. (Hons.) ECEC is to help professionalise the early years sector, by providing early years students with the necessary knowledge, skills, competences and dispositions to work with young children as well as help them develop their notion of what it means to be an early years professional.
