Year 2

Develop knowledge of maternal health, family planning, community midwifery, and pregnancy-related medical conditions while expanding clinical experience in maternity care. Students also begin research training and strengthen practical skills through clinical placements. Key modules include Women's Health and Family Planning, Midwifery in the Community, Intrapartum Care Related to Practice, Care of the Normal Newborn, Research Methods in Health Sciences, and Midwifery Clinical Practice 2.

Year 3

Advance to the management of complex pregnancies, neonatal complications, pharmacology, diagnostic ultrasound, reproductive health, and legal and ethical aspects of midwifery. Clinical placements focus on postnatal care and advanced midwifery practice. Key modules include Complications of Childbearing, Neonatal Resuscitation, Pharmacology for Midwifery Students, Introduction to Diagnostic Ultrasound for Midwives, Legal Issues in Midwifery, and Postnatal Care Related to Practice.

Year 4

Prepare for professional practice through advanced leadership, critical care, digital health, perinatal mental health, and healthcare management.
