Program Overview

To provide a three year programme of study in both the theory and practice of mental health nursing to allow the successful students to function as fully accredited members of the psychiatric multi-disciplinary team. The main focus of mental health nursing s responsibilities is working with people and the course offers opportunities for personal growth, interpersonal skills development and the foundations of evidence based interventions to enable them to do so as self directed practitioners.
