Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology aims: To provide students with a general and detailed knowledge and understanding of crime and criminology, to equip students with a knowledge and understanding of criminological theories and concepts which offer explanations as to why people engage in criminal acts and to address issues in criminology, particularly the roles of class, sex and race/ethnicity in criminal behavior and the social policy and correctional responses to it.
