You'll develop strategic communication skills across marketing, health, social impact, and digital domains while mastering English and Spanish—giving you a genuine competitive edge in global organizations.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1: Building Your Foundation

Your first year introduces you to the core pillars of the programme: Language, Communication and Organisation; Intercultural Communication and Foreign Language; and Academic and Research Skills. You'll gain broad theoretical knowledge of how language, communication, and culture interact within organizations, and immediately apply these concepts to real communicative situations. This balanced approach means you're not just learning theory—you're translating it into practice from day one.

Year 2: Deepening Your Expertise

In your second year, you'll deepen your knowledge of intercultural and international business communication while expanding your research capabilities. You have genuine flexibility here: choose from a language and culture package, an interdisciplinary package, or courses from your own programme—giving you 30 EC of electives to shape your specialization. This is also when you can opt into one of three distinct profiles: International Business Communication, Communication with Social Impact, or People and Digital Communication.

Year 3: Real-World Application & Research

Your final year shifts toward job market preparation with courses focused on practical skills, personal and professional development, and advanced intercultural communication. You'll undertake a practical case study consulting for a real societal partner on an actual communication challenge, complete your bachelor's thesis through a dedicated research project, and choose 30 EC of free electives—either at Radboud or abroad—to specialize further. This capstone year ensures you're ready for immediate professional impact.
