Radboud University Nijmegen is a public university which was established in the year 1923 under the name Catholic University Nijmegen. In 2004, the university changed its name to Radboud University Nijmegen and is located in Nijmegen which is considered as the oldest city in the Netherlands.
Radboud University Nijmegen Programs, Courses, and Schools:
Radboud University Nijmegen comprises seven faculties; Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Nijmegen School of Management, Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Social Sciences. For each faculty an overview of professors and their chairs is available. The University enrolls over 19,000 students in more than 100 study programs 37 bachelor's and 75 master's programs. The university offers more than 30 international master's programs taught in English and several more taught in Dutch. All master's programs have been internationally accredited by the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
Radboud University Nijmegen Campus:
Apart from the main campus, the Radboud University Nijmegen has been involved in the construction of several more campuses which includes; New building Faculty of Social Sciences, Thomas van Aquinostraat, Erasmus building and the square, and the green campus. The university comprises a University library which provides the students with numerous services like; E-Journals, Browzine, eBooks, and more. The university has several major research institutes, each offering outstanding potential to students and researchers alike. Some of them are; Radboud Institute for Health Sciences, Institute for Water and Wetland Research, Institute for Molecules and Materials, Institute for Mathematics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics, Institute for Computing and Information Sciences, and more.

Professor Andre Geim and Professor Konstantin Novoselov, both connected to the Radboud University, have been awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics 2010 for the discovery of graphene, the thinnest material in the world.
