The major in International Business is a recent development within the School of Business (Commerce Division). It recognises that business is being conducted in a dynamic, global environment and that organisations, both in New Zealand and through the world, need individuals who can work across the traditional functional boundaries as well as across national borders. The International Business major offers students the opportunity to combine the study of key international business issues with the study of language and cultural issues.

The minimum entrance requirement is the completion of a high school certificate plus satisfactory completion of one year s study at an approved tertiary institution, IB Diploma with a minimum of 26 points, GCE Advanced Levels: minimum grade of 8, IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80 (writing 20), CAE/CPE of 176 (with no individual band below 169), (PTE) Academic of 58 with no communicative skills score below 50, Academic Transcripts, Educational Credential Evaluators report (ECE), Proof of your identity.
