Biblical Studies is devoted to the study of the Jewish and Christian Scriptures, looking at the origins of the biblical writings and the history of their interpretation. Religious Studies seeks both to understand religion as a universal human phenomenon and to explore the variety of ways in which people express their religious commitments in thought and action. Since Religious Studies students study a wide variety of societies and cultures, this is a subject which can be profitably included within most courses of study. The aim of the Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA(Hons)) is to help students become highly skilled, versatile, independent thinkers with the research experience, information literacy, communication and interpersonal skills necessary for an advanced professional career or further academic study at the Master's or PhD level
The minimum entrance requirement is the completion of a high school certificate plus satisfactory completion of one year s study at an approved tertiary institution, IB Diploma with a minimum of 26 points, GCE Advanced Levels: minimum grade of 8, IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80 (writing 20), CAE/CPE of 176 (with no individual band below 169), (PTE) Academic of 58 with no communicative skills score below 50, Academic Transcripts, Educational Credential Evaluators report (ECE), Proof of your identity.
