In the process of training in this specialization, students get acquainted with the basics of the rational use of natural resources, environmental legislation, software in the field of environmental protection, the operation and arrangement of treatment equipment, and the organization of engineering and environmental surveys. Students also study modern methods of environmental monitoring, the procedure for conducting environmental reviews of projects for the expansion and reconstruction of existing industries, as well as the creation of new ones. They study the reporting on the implementation of environmental protection measures, take part in student research and experimental work on the treatment of industrial wastewater and emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, waste disposal
