Program Overview

In the process of studying in this specialty, students get deeply acquainted with the fundamental foundations of the Earth sciences, study in detail the geology of mineral deposits, the conditions for their formation and placement in the earth's crust, the composition and methods for diagnosing natural types of ores. Students in theory and practice master the methods of studying minerals, rocks and ores. The curriculum of academic disciplines provides training for highly qualified specialists in many areas of applied geology, who own the methods of forecasting, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits, solving mining geology problems, trained in computer technologies for modeling the geological environment and calculating mineral reserves
