In the process of training in this specialization, students get acquainted with the methods of maintaining safe, environmentally friendly, resource-saving and cost-effective technologies for open pit mining of solid mineral deposits; master the methods of design, construction, operation, reconstruction and re-equipment of mining enterprises, including the use of information technology; master the methods of geological and industrial assessment of mineral deposits and the legislative foundations of subsoil use; study the processes and mechanization of open-pit mining of deposits of solid minerals.
