This programme focuses on the languages, culture and history of Ancient Mesopotamia and the neighbouring regions of the Middle East. Students study the main languages of cuneiform culture, as well as a number of ancient Semitic languages. In addition, students learn Arabic and German. The programme also includes various lectures on the history and culture of ancient Mesopotamia.
