National Research University Higher School of Economics History

National Research University Higher School of Economics History was established in 1992 by Yevgeny Yasin, YaroslavKuzminov, RevoldEntov, Oleg Ananyin, and RustemNureev. The founders were well known Russian economists who played important roles in implementing the market reforms to support Russia's transition to a market economy and specializing in economics and social science. In October 2009, State University Higher School of Economics was granted the status as National Research University.

The University provides Faculties such as Faculty of Economics, Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics, Faculty of Physics, Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Communications, Media and Design, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences.
