This programme trains researchers, design engineers and development engineers in the fields of theoretical and applied information technology. The curriculum was developed in 2014 based on the approaches of leading computer science faculties, including EPFL in Switzerland and Stanford in the USA, as well as the Yandex Data Analysis School- a renowned educational institution which trains specialists in areas such as analysis and processing of big data and machine learning.

This programme prepares highly qualified specialists in the field of software development, programming languages, data analysis, and machine learning. Thanks to its combination of the fundamental and applied aspects of computer science, graduates can either continue their studies in Masters programmes at leading universities around the world, or find work in leading Russian and global IT firms.

This programme successfully combines fundamental training in mathematics and computer sciences with applications in economics and business. Students actively participate in world-class research at the scientific laboratories, TAPRADESS and LATNA. Graduates will be able to apply their knowledge in working for research centers, government bodies, educational institutions and commercial organizations.
