"The undergraduate educational program ""Medical Physics"" of the Department of Theoretical Physics and Intelligent Technologies of the Far Eastern Federal University trains highly qualified specialists in the field of modern medical physics. The educational program is a partnership with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna). The educational program combines fundamental training in theoretical physics and mathematics, as well as biological and medical physics, basic medicine, biology, chemistry, physical methods of diagnosis and treatment used in medicine, including nuclear medicine. Particular attention in the preparation of bachelors of the direction ""Physics"" of the profile ""Medical Physics"" is paid to the study of the use of nuclear physics methods in medicine, nuclear and radiation diagnostics and therapy, modern medical diagnostic devices, information technology and mathematical modeling in medicine (visualization), the basics of working on modern laboratory and scientific equipment, computer simulation of physical processes, processing and analysis of experimental results using modern information technologies"
