Undergraduate Economics programme is a selective programme with a significant math component. Some classes are delivered in English. Its aim is to prepare students for work as highly-qualified leaders and analysts in top Russian and international companies, governments, research centers and educational institutes. Students receive broad knowledge in the areas of economic theory, mathematics, information processing technologies, statistics, econometrics, and foreign languages, while also studying applied disciplines in-depth and producing original research of their own.

This programme offers fundamental training in modern economic theory and the opportunity to study a wide range of mathematical subjects, modern technologies of data processing, statistics, and econometrics. Applied subjects in economics and finance are also offered. Some of the core subjects are taught in English. Students also have the opportunity to complete internships at international partner universities.

The Bachelor s in Economics is designed to train specialists in the field of economics and finance. The programme has a heavy focus on modern economic theory, mathematical disciplines and foreign languages. This theoretical focus is combined with the study of applied disciplines. Students actively participate in scientific research and a wide range of projects and have the opportunity to undertake internships abroad. Seminars and workshops are conducted by business representatives and professors from leading European universities.

This programme prepares highly-qualified researchers and analysts, who are prepared to work in financial and IT firms, as well as companies operating in the real sectors of the economy. First and second year students acquire fundamental knowledge of economics and finance, gain a deep understanding of statistics, mathematics and modeling of social and economic processes, while also perfecting their project skills. The curriculum of senior courses includes a wide range of applied disciplines.
