In its long tradition, the Department of Bromatology studies the chemical composition of foods and dietary products, provides knowledge about the nutritional and energy needs of certain population groups, as well as the possibilities of forming optimal diets; provides knowledge of nutrient interactions as well as food and drug interactions.
