The basic scientific activities of the faculty in the current project cycle (2011-2015) are contained in 49 national scientific projects, of which 11 are the Faculty of research.The faculty has 113 teachers and associates and 50 researchers employed to work on scientific projects.During 2011, the Faculty of Biology was ranked fifth at the University of Belgrade in the number of published SCI papers in relation to the number of doctors of science
